About Us
Nourishing, not just filling, the mind and body
Welcome to Plated With Love, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to support individuals affected by diet-related health conditions while raising awareness about the importance of healthy eating. We believe that quality food is more than nourishment—it is a way to show love, care, and compassion for ourselves and others. Through education, service, and community, we hope to inspire healthier lifestyles and remind others that every meal can be Plated With Love.

The Story
I started this nonprofit after going through two major slumps in my life, both rooted in my relationship with food. One taught me the importance of healthy eating; the other taught me the importance of eating intentionally. (read more about in our blog section!)
I soon realized I wasn’t alone. Struggles with food are almost a rite of passage for many people. But for some, the problem goes deeper: they want to make healthier choices, yet lack the resources to do so. That’s the gap I want to help close.
When we think about food insecurity, society’s first instinct is often simply to fill an empty stomach with whatever is available. But people deserve more than just something to eat. They deserve food that nourishes them, sustains them, and supports their health and dignity.
That’s why our nonprofit is committed to serving low-income and impoverished communities meals made with love and intention—not simply to fill a stomach, but to nourish a person. We believe everyone deserves access to food that is healthy, meaningful, and made with care.
